The Smart Enterprise Booking and Cancellation policy for individual bookings
The person who completes the booking form is ‘the client’ and is therefore subject to the booking and cancellation policy for individual bookings.
One form is required per person and contact details on the form must be for the individual who is attending the course.
By completing and submitting the booking form, clients agree to the dates, times and cost of the course booked and invoices will be sent via email to the email address supplied. Whilst waiting for payment individuals will be held on a waiting list and payment is the only way to secure places.
In the case of invoicing a place of work, once a booking form has been completed you are obligated to transfer The Smart Enterprise invoice to your administrator and secure prompt payment. The Smart Enterprise will confirm your place on the course once the payment has cleared if the course is not full.
Payments by cheque will be dated at the time of clearing within The Smart Enterprise account.
If on receipt of payment the course has become fully booked, the client will be offered a full refund or alternative dates and the cancellation charges will not apply.
All invoices are payable without any discount or payment plans of any kind unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All invoices are valid for 60 days, if after this time we have not heard from the client, the invoice will be cancelled and the client will need to re-apply for the training.
The Smart Enterprise reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course at short notice. In the case of The Smart Enterprise cancelling the course the client will be offered an alternative course or a full refund.
The Smart Enterprise cannot be held liable for any costs the client may incur in arranging travel and/or accommodation in relation to the course should the course be cancelled or postponed.
In the event of the client wishing to cancel a booking, they are subject to the following charges plus any costs already incurred by The Smart Enterprise:
- 100% course fee if the client cancels 0 to 13 calendar days prior to commencement of the course
- 50% course fee if the client cancels 14 to 29 calendar days prior to commencement of the course
- Full refund if the client cancels 30 or more calendar days prior to commencement of the course.
In the case of costs being incurred by The Smart Enterprise and retained at the point of cancellation, The Smart Enterprise will produce copies of any documentation and receipts and make them available to the client.
Cancellations must be received in writing and The Smart Enterprise will accept the cancellation based on the date it is received in writing.
Should the client wish to transfer onto an alternative course date, the request must be put in writing and must be made at least 30 days prior to commencement of the course. The Smart Enterprise will try to accommodate the request where possible. Only one transfer request per person will be received.
If on the day of training the client is unable to attend for whatever reason, The Smart Enterprise is under no obligation to offer alternative dates.
The Smart Enterprise reserves the right to change the Booking and Cancellation Policy. Any changes will become effective on the date it is published on The Smart Enterprise website.
